Seriously, This Nonsense AGAIN?

Okay, look. It's the end of February and there is so much snow.  Mercury is retrograde AGAIN. I lost an argument with a fruit cup yesterday which is why there's a bandaid on my thumb. And I don't know about you but I'm feeling the need for both hematite and obnoxiously bright colors and OH LOOK MY BEAD STASH OBLIGED.

So let's try an experiment. I've done this before lots of times, albeit never quite this way, but hey, technology!

You get to choose a type of jewelry (pendant, earrings, bracelet - if you want a bracelet, make sure you put a note on the order telling me how long it should be) and a price range ($10 - $50) and whether you want the shiny beads or the matte beads. Use the drop-down menus to find the combination of your choosing!

Then I surprise you, but within the parameters that you selected, because I'm nice like that.

The more you spend, the more time I spend on it and fancier it gets. (That's how linear time works, basically.) You want super simple for $10? I've got you. You want lots of fwoosh for $50? Yeah, I can do that too. And you can add rainbow stars for an extra dollar if you want, because hey, why not?

As you can see, I have lots of these beads. I don't think I'll run out, because usually when I do this sort of thing I sell a reasonable number of them and it's not a problem. I'll pull the beads for each order as the orders come in (except when I'm asleep, obviously) and if I start running low I'll... uh, I'm not sure what I'll do, but I'll stay on top of it to the best of my abilities.

They'll ship out sometime next week. I'm not promising exactly when, because of the whole recovering-from-surgery thing, but I'm bored half out of my mind and there's nothing wrong with my hands, so I'll be aiming for a 24-48 hour turnaround time. Mercury is retrograde until March 10th, so y'know, we'll be dealing with this crap for a while longer. First-come first-served, basically.

...I just typed first-come first-serviced and uh that's a completely different kind of business nothing to see here move along now.

(International customers, I make ZERO promises about when you'll get it. But hey, it'll happen again in June, so you could always consider this planning ahead for next time?)

Item # 10pendantshiny

My silver wire is .999 fine silver over a copper core, encased in a durable clear enamel coating. (My gold, bronze, rosegold, and copper wires also have the clear enamel coating, unless otherwise specified.) I have been using this wire since I began making jewelry in 2003, because it is extremely non-reactive - people with metal allergies can wear it! - and it does not tarnish. It is also easier for me to manipulate than solid sterling wire, which allows me to hand-sculpt it into the intricate fwooshiness of my trademark style despite the extensive hypermobility caused by Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

In the interest of being environmentally friendly, I keep my packaging as minimal as possible while still protecting the contents. Most orders are shipped in small kraft boxes inside bubble mailers, with items packed together whenever possible rather than using a single box for each piece of jewelry in an order. (Gift bags are available!) Larger items are usually shipped wrapped in tissue paper in a Priority Mail box.

I am transitioning away from using packing slips or other paper inserts; while many small businesses like mine routinely include handwritten thank you notes in every order, I feel it is more environmentally responsible to express my appreciation for your patronage via email rather than contributing to the contents of your recycling bin!
