beauty in the broken places #55

I have some really lovely stones that I haven’t been able to use because they’re fragile and will definitely break at some point… so I’ve made them into four experimental/collaborative necklaces that will come with additional beads, lengths of wire, and a videocall wireworking lesson (up to 30 minutes) if desired/needed.

As the original beads break, you will be able to replace them with the other beads to create a necklace that continuously changes over time, potentially eventually becoming something totally different than how it started.

This necklace has rainbow moonstone briolettes, and comes with shimmery silvery labradorite as replacement beads for when the garnets eventually break. Or you can of course use beads from your own stash to replace the moonstones and use the labradorite to make something else… once this piece leaves my hands its future is entirely up to you! 

By purchasing this necklace, you acknowledge that you are aware that the stones WILL break at some point and that this is intended to be an ongoing collaborative art project. 

This necklace can be sized to any length between 12 and 26 inches; please specify desired length below.
