Starfall
Starfall
A small piece of Nantan meteorite set in tightly sculpted spirals of silver wire. The Nantan fall was recorded as occurring in 1516, but the meteorites in the strewfield were mostly ignored until 1958 when an iron shortage in China prompted government scrutiny. PLEASE NOTE: there is significant nickel content in Nantan meteorites. I’ve wirewrapped this in such a way that the meteorite should not be able to touch the skin of the wearer, but if you are have a severe nickel sensitivity, you may want to consider only wearing this over clothing and/or coating the back of it with clear nailpolish periodically.
