If you’ve ever thought “I’d like to start wearing jewelry but I don’t know where to even start AAAAAH SO MANY SHINIES I CAN NOT CHOOSE” or “I have NO idea what to get [person] for [insert holiday/special occasion here] but I know they like shiny things” this subscription is for you!

(It’s also for you if you’ve noticed you don’t have any jewelry to match specific outfits, or if you want to expand your shiny collection without having to stalk the website! Or if you just really really like surprises!)

HOW DOES IT WORK?

When you sign up, I’ll send you an email asking a bunch of moderately nosy questions, like “what are your favorite colors?” and “are you a jeans and t-shirt sort of person or a ballgown sort of person?” and “tell me about your favorite shoes” and “how do you feel about fwoosh?” and you’ll tell me anything you think I should know about you, like when you’d be wearing jewelry - all the time? to work? only on special occasions?

(If you’re getting this for someone else, don’t panic if you don’t know the answers. I can work with whatever you do know about them for the first month and then you can forward them my nosy questions and I’ll take it from there.)

Then, every month for six months, shinies will magically arrive in your mailbox! You’ll get two pieces of jewelry most months, based on what types of jewelry you want - might be a pendant and matching earrings, might be two pendants, might be a bracelet and earrings. Once or twice you’ll get a single fancier piece of jewelry, like a simple necklace or a bigger pendant.

(Or if you want two things every single month, I can do that. Or it can all be fancier things. Or you can change your mind partway through and ask me to start sending different types of jewelry. It’s your jewelry, I just work here.)

At the end of six months, you’ll have a pretty awesome new jewelry wardrobe, all custom-designed for you and your personal sense of style. (Even if you think you don’t have one of those.)

WHO ARE YOU?

If you don’t already know me, hi. I'm Kythryne Aisling, and I’ve been making jewelry out of wire and beads and shiny rocks since 2003. I’m pretty sure I’ve made somewhere in the vicinity of 15,000 pieces of jewelry in that time, and a lot of it has been custom work. (I’ve also had a monthly earring subscription since 2005. Just sayin’.) I’m really good at taking vague suggestions and coming up with awesome shinies for people, and I love brainstorming ideas and plotting surprises. But you don't have to take my word for it:

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER SIX MONTHS?

Your credit card stops getting billed and I stop sending you shinies, and we both live happily ever after! Or you can sign up again and I'll ask you nosy questions again and you can either say "let's do [totally different thing]!" or "everything is awesome keep going!"
