Yesterday we took the Downeaster to Portland for a day trip - one last summer outing before school starts.
As is my tradition on trains, I spent the train ride making shinies and gave some of them away to anyone who expressed interest in what I was doing - I had lovely conversations with a couple of women, and shared an Uber into downtown with one of them.
On the way home, we got to ride in the historic Amtrak Dome Car, which was spectacular. And I made some more shinies, all of which are now up on the website - go grab them here!
