Sometimes I sit down to work on what I think will be a fairly simple little piece and the next thing I know it’s dinner time and I’m only halfway done with one pendant because I just kept finding more beads to put on it and more spots that needed filling in with wire… and when I finally finished the first one I liked it so much that I promptly made three more in the same style. 

These are large pendants densely packed with stones and wirework, and there’s a lot to discover in them. This one is garnet, smoked opal, synthetic opal, andesine, Swarovski pearl, color-treated pearl, and a color-treated pearl that has been faceted. 

(So many opals. SO MANY.)
