Artificial Mermaids

On my last trip to the vintage bead warehouse in NYC a small bag of blue beads caught my eye, so I tossed it into my boxes of treasure thinking it was probably imitation turquoise, which I sometimes like.
Upon further investigation, the beads turned out to be various coral shapes in really pretty shades of blue. They remind me of gaudy, tacky 50s costume jewelry - obviously fake, but just quirky enough to be charming. 6 pairs available, beads vary slightly in color.
