fauxfire #24
fauxfire #24
Okay, so: it turns out fluorite is a PAIN IN THE BACKSIDE to photograph under UV, because it fluoresces a particular shade of purple-blue that cameras can’t capture accurately. I was able to get pretty close by not shining the light directly on these pieces, but what you’ll see when you look at them under UV will be a bit different.
Clear fluorite with subtle green and purple banding in sculpted silver wire. This is an imperfect stone but the banding is so cool that I had to use it. Fluorite is a fragile stone, plan to store it where it can’t get knocked around by other jewelry. One of a kind.
This is part of the fauxfire collection - 80 uv-reactive or glow-in-the-dark shinies! All of the UV-reactive pieces will react under 365nm UV light; some will react differently or not at all under 395nm UV light.
