This piece came out so much better than I expected: beautifully faceted smoky quartz with smoked dark opals flashing every color of the rainbow. The darkness of the opals against the sparks of color sets off the warm grey-gold of the smoky quartz, and it all just... flowed. One of my favorite pieces that I’ve made recently!
