Several people commented that yesterday’s Meditation could have been turned into a shawl pin, so today I decided to make a shawl pin on purpose.

The tip of the stick is quite dull, so it will not work on woven material unless the weave is very open - it’s better suited for knitted items, and should be fine for anything from light sockweight up to worsted yarn; I wouldn’t use it on items made from either laceweight or bulky yarn. You could probably use just the stick part on a laceweight shawl, though.
