The Price We Pay For Stories

It’s hard to see in the photos, even though I took them outside in full sun - these garnets are such a deep red as to be nearly black, but they light up with red sparks if you look at them just right. A titch under 8” long; I can’t make it shorter but I can add an extender to make it longer.
