“And into the darkness, you must carry a light”

I really, really love black opals. Okay, so I love ALL opals, really, but black opals are just so... gloriously LOUD. 

These are color-treated (smoked) opals, but the fire is so pretty that I honestly don’t care how they got this way - they’re full of spark and light and that’s good enough for me. 

These earrings are very light despite having four pretty good sized opals on each one.
