“Here, I bought too many of these,” said my friend Kate, handing me a strand of shimmery beads - which made me realize I hadn’t gotten around to doing my usual “this looks like something that belongs on a Christmas tree” earrings yet this year. Friends with surplus beads to the rescue once again!
