fauxfire #23
fauxfire #23
Okay, so: it turns out fluorite is a PAIN IN THE BACKSIDE to photograph under UV, because it fluoresces a particular shade of purple-blue that cameras can’t capture accurately. I was able to get pretty close by not shining the light directly on these pieces, but what you’ll see when you look at them under UV will be a bit different.
Carved fluorite with tiny fluorite accents - the colors are beautifully subtle in regular light and do neat things under UV.
These are a little more fragile than most of my earrings - plan to store them where they can’t get knocked around by other jewelry. One of a kind.
Sterling silver earwires unless you opt to upgrade to something else.
This is part of the fauxfire collection - 80 uv-reactive or glow-in-the-dark shinies! All of the UV-reactive pieces will react under 365nm UV light; some will react differently or not at all under 395nm UV light.
