Foreshadowing

The weather here snapped cold and damp suddenly in the middle of August, enough that I had to rummage out a pair of handknit wool socks this morning. So since apparently we’re getting a preview of late fall at the end of summer, here’s a pair of earrings to match: vintage and modern firepolished glass in silvertone beadcaps, on sterling silver earwires.
