You aren’t seeing things - these really do change color! They have a thermal coating that shifts to different colors depending on the temperature.

The coating is somewhat fragile and can be scratched off (ask me how I know 😑) so plan to handle these with a bit of extra care and definitely don’t take them swimming or into the shower.
