Charoite is glorious - think tigereye but swirly, or pietersite but purple. It’s chatoyant and sometimes a little translucent in spots, and doesn’t get nearly as much attention as it should. 

These earrings are on the large side - rough-cut disks of charoite stacked with silvery spacer beads between each.
