Beads may be glass, metal, stone, crystal, or plastic; they'll be on high-quality silver-plated earwires, or you can upgrade to other types of earwires. The llama charms are lead-free silvertone metal and are very light despite their relatively large size. If you have metal allergies, you may want to plan to coat them with clear nail polish every so often to prevent skin reactions.

The "surprise me!" option means you could get absolutely ANYTHING; "sparkly!" will be glass that does some sort of reflective/rainbow thing. 

If you order more than one of the same color, I will use beads of a different shape, size, or shade so no two pairs in your order are the same.
